Singer-songwriter Fred Eaglesmith has been playing songs and performing throughout Europe, Canada and the United States for more than 42 years. Compared to such legends as John Prine and Woody Guthrie, his songwriting skills have made Tom Waits cry. His songs and ballads have been covered by some of the biggest names in the business, and he just released his latest album, "Standard," on Jan. 27. Tif Ginn, known for her sultry vocals and transcendent songwriting, has also spent most of her life touring and playing music. The two met while Eaglesmith was touring in Texas. Now partners on stage and in life, the duo will be performing together at the Iron Horse for two nights.
