The Commander Cody Band
Plus: Stewart James & The Memphis Flyers with special guest Charlie Scott

Commander Cody And His Lost Planet Airmen arrived in San Francisco in 1969 with the Commander himself, George Frayne, on the piano. They played the legendary Fillmore Auditorium with the Grateful Dead, The Doors, The Jefferson Airplane, Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin and The Eagles and played backing band to Gene Vincent, Link Wray and John Lennon. Capturing the essence of American "roots" music they created radio and party anthems like Hot Rod Lincoln and Smoke Smoke Smoke That Cigarette.
